Hello, today I am going to play Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic for the first time. Honestly I probably wouldn't be if Fallout New Vegas hadn't gotten me into RPGs. Anyways, is there anything I should know about the game before I play? And what character build should I go for?

Sorry I have never played KOTOR, what do you mean companions? Like companions from Fallout?
If you showed a non-Star Wars fan a picture of C-3P0 and R2, they'd instantly recognize them.

Like, where on your body would you keep your lightsaber when not using it? On your belt, on your back (Rahm Kota style), etc? It would probably be a bad idea, but I'd store mine on my forearm. It would then probably have to be a shoto saber

@Brianspike42 I'm pretty sure Vosa and Xanatos are Legends (Idk much about the EU), this is a canon-based collage judging by Sabine's inclusion. As for Mundi, Yoda trained thousands of Jedi; if Mundi were included, all the other named Jedi that Yoda has taught would have to be as well. Besides, this is about the main characters such as Anakin, Obi, and Ahsoka, Mundi is a side character

Spawned in as Kylo on Endor in a Galactic Assault match and immediately, this dude on a speeder bike began chasing me down and tore through my HP with his blaster cannons. Those damn speeders should've been nerfed really hard before the game support ended. I swear, they're so annoying! As well as the fact that you have to spam X over the hero/villain you want while waiting for whoever is playing as said character to die because everyone else is also waiting for that same character. Galactic Assault is fun, but your character's foot can slightly peak out into the open and some guy camping at the back of the map with a sniper will immediately shoot your foot and kill you. It's like that war scene from Solo.
