Finally watching this! I'll write as I go.

I think that the relationship as ex-master and padawan of Sabine and Ahsoka will be highlighted much in this series.

I really love the set design so far. And I really like how they kept the designs of the ships somewhat vintage-y star wars.

Once again, Lothal looks absolutely stunning.

Can anyone tell me what kind of assassin/mercenary droids they were? I saw that the head looked different than usual.

One thing i'm curious about, is if the padawan of Balyan goes somewhere, does he just stay around and do nothing at Seatos?

I don't know if it's the lighting, but Hera's skin looks way more accurate in the Corellia scene. And chopper! We finally see that lil guy again.

I'm really interested on what happened between SWR and this. (On Ahsoka and Sabine's relationship)

I think that Huyang is basically me in a nutshell, haha. Logical, honest.

Marrok's lightsaber looks like an inquisitor's. And I really loved the duel, nicely choreographed.

The mandalorian armor is back! The reason I loved Sabine in the first place.

A fine continuation of episode 1, got me looking forward for episode 3. 8/10

I just finished watching, so this is my take.

First, I was really happy to see Lothal again. And I love how they kept the mural in the original art style of Rebels.

The loth-cat was cute, and it's one of the many things i enjoyed in this.

Morgan Elsbeth is a descendant of the Nightsisters... and before I knew the temple was made by Nightsisters, I thought it was Zeffo. The star map also looks like it, too.

Huyang! I've been inactive on star wars for some time, so it took a bit of brain searching to remember who he was.

Nitpick, but the montral and lekku of Ahsoka could be better, imo. Could be bluer, and more protruding, I guess? Maybe it's just me who really loved Shaak Ti's and TCW Ahsoka's too much.

Jai Kell is now a senator? Wow, character arc.

If i'm not wrong, Sabine's fighting form looks like Form III (?) but Ahsoka (passed from Anakin) is Form V. Idk, maybe it's just me haha

Although, I was screaming at my screen at parts where it was so slow.

Other than that, I give this opening a 7.8/10

So. Season finale. I'm writing this as I go, so let's unpack this long-awaited finale together.

Grogu to the rescue! I think him in the IG suit is a major change for good.

As I've said last week, Gideon's suit is sick! Reminds me so much of Gar Saxon.

So, does every astromech have jet thrusters? I thought only R2-D2 had them.

So, Axe Woves is sacrificing himself? What an honorable guy.

Cute lil mouse droids vs R5! This is honestly too silly lol.

This clone section is honestly too creepy. More Gideons? And are the supercommandos his clones as well?

Greens on Mandalore! I guess this is what they meant by Mandalore was beautiful before the bombings.

Kom'rks and Fang Fighters! Honestly I really love this part. Also the Darksaber. Also isn't it a bit funny, that while in the whole fighting in the sky on jetpacks scene, the Armorer only uses her hammers?

The Praetorian Guards strike once again! I have to admit, they look really sick. Poor Grogu though :(

I have to admit, Bo-Katan wjth the Darksaber looks cool as fck.

Finally, the Darksaber is destroyed! Now, what's next? I think, this can set up for some political fights about being Mand'alor.

Grogu's a Jedi! Damn, his force powers are quite trained..

Din Grogu! So, I'm guessing Bo will be Mand'alor, and season 4 will be about Grogu. Even the Mythosaur, which we thought would be something important this season, is only teased in the end.

IG Is back! Well, at least that concludes the first arc in this season.

Although it has been a little all over the place, I give this season a 8/10. And for this Episode, I give it a 6/10 because for me it wasn't a finale, but more like a sequel to episode 7.

I rewatched it again, and the pacing was a bit off. Honestly, not truly a "season finale" material episode. Where are the space battles? So Mandalore's reclaimed just like that? This has been disappointing for a finale.
