I wanted to search for the spoiler thread for Ahsoka on the Fandom app, but it keeps only searching the wiki. Any tips on how to search for posts rather than articles?
Yeah, I don’t think your friend is watching in the way the narrative was intended. You can’t watch TCW without having seen ROTS. There are just too many references that would go completely misunderstood. Movies first, then the series.
Turns out, it WAS a trap. So sad.
This episode was the one I’d been hoping for. ALL of the stars!
The puppet Yoda looked like a Sesame Steet character. CGI got it dialed in.
Obi-Wan. He knows all the best bars in the galaxy.
When Luke just tossed the saber was when I knew I was done with the sequel trilogy. They had one job: Make Luke awesome. I think JJ could have done that, then he was just left cleaning up the mess that was yet another whiny, ineffective Luke and a lame resurrection (or should I say magic trick?) at the end that ultimately did nothing to advance the plot because Rey didn’t even really progress as a Jedi. I have to assume the NEXT lame resurrection (Palpatine) was just a last ditch effort to make it all tie together somehow after the black hole left by Carrie Fisher.
I have found that most of the time in dialogue, that the one calling the knight “master” is no Jedi at all, almost like it’s a sign of respect for the robe. Sort of like a butler will call a guest in the house master. Not a perfect analogy, but I think I make the point. That said, there was that scene in AOTC where Padme just flat-out corrects a dude and points out that Anakin is just a padawan learner. If she pulled that garbage while I was going out of my way to protect her, I sure as hell wouldn’t have fallen in love with her.

There must be a way to stop this programatically.
Yeah, he used to go by the handle Matthew Purifoy. Very annoying to say the least. I sometimes think that it must be some sort of AI trying to get feedback from real people on open forums. I therefore dubbed him “The Purifinator”
Mine were never all that tidy, it seemed.
I always imagined sexy lingerie under there. Unencumbering and still empowering.
I absolutely adore The Bendu. However, I think the almost god-like power he possesses would be difficult to sustain in live action. That said, I feel like the Ahsoka series looks like a Rebels sequel, so if they can fit it in, I would be pretty stoked.
He’s a bit over the top at times from a cheese standpoint, but you surely can’t be hatin’ on 3PO.
Yeah, you’re going to have to elaborate on the original post. Warriors meditating is nothing new.
Twileks
Little premature.
For real. Kylo just DISCARDED his helmet for a while. What costume did he even really have? What a sad character.
Duh
I think there always has to be a battle for the protagonist between the light and the dark. The secondary characters never face this. So for Ezra, it’s Maul. For Rey, it’s either Kylo (weak) or the Palpatine lineage (also weak). Either way, that’s been built into every main protagonist in the whole body of work. Luke/Vader, Anakin/Shmi/the Jedi Order/Palpatine (my personal favorite). It’s simply the nature of Star Wars.
