^Then I would suggest reading the Darth Bane Trilogy by Drew Karpyshyn. It a facinating story about the sith lord Darth Bane's life, how he became a sith in the first place and how he created the rule of two. The plot is really interestin, action is excitong, and my favorite part is the storytelling and also how the ideology of the sith is presented.
^which era are you most interested in? Also would you like to learn more about sith, jedi or neither?
If you like deep backstory/lore than i think you'd like books that are set in the old republic (legends).
Please elaborate on your personal preferences, to make the recommendations easier to make. (You might not like the same thing as me.)
^^ as if it was an obligation. They prob just don't wanna waste their time explaining why they feel that way about the sequels, mostly because they dont give a damn about it. There are already existing reasons established by many people for why they don't like it, why would they have to explain it to someone? The only scenario that such explanation is needed are cases in which one asks another specifically to elaborate on their opinion or claim. As long as its whether you like it or not there is no need for explanation.
Why saying 'fans sucks' normal but saying 'sequels suck' isn't? Just because the majority of people on YouTube doesn't like something you do it doesn't mean that they suck. If you think so then you contradicted yourself. You say they suck because they said that sequels suck. That would mean you suck as well. (And if i were to say that i would suck too lmao)
^I strongly agree with that, we are all biased, after all our opinions are merely a mixture of other people's opinions that we recieved from our parents and teachers and the way we function is also determined by these biases that we have been told throughout all these years since we were born. Even though Im aware of this, its still not easy to accept or rather just give any thought to what the other person is thinking and why exactly is their opinion differ from ours. People usually just don't want to listen, not even for reason. Im not saying everyone has to accept one's views just because they think differently but should think about it for a couple seconds. So what I said earlier that "most people didn't like the ST as much as the OT" might not be true, but you cant say for sure that its untrue either. Anyway i also forgot to listen to your part of the argument so now im trying to make sense of everything we discussed, without much success tho. I apologize for this messy argument lol.
i replied anyway lol
Im more of a book/comic guy so i dont really care about the movies nor the recent shows except for tcw, but i still enjoyed the OT more than the ST although the movies aren't the reason why I love Star Wars. About the PT, sure it was hated and mostly deserved it, wasn't as great as the original especially the dialogs but as you said its all subjective or whatever.
^yeah whatever just drop it, its useless to argue anyway.
^Just because you know people who likes it doesn't make them the majority, anytime you see a poll, titled "which trilogy do you like more" have ever seen when the ST had more than 20% of the votes because i didn't and not just on this fandom but youtube and other social medias as well. I stated that its worse than the original and most people agree with it.
^sure perhaps saying "objectively" isn't fair but lets be real most people didn't like it for obvious reasons, and It was neither of those that they mentioned.
The sequels was and is being hated because its worse than the original. End of discussion.
kinda
I Don't agree, but good for you.
^so you are saying you are evil or what?
^^Don't take this too seriously. Its just a poll after all, perhaps their choice would be different if it was a real life situation. Anyway as I stated before I suppose most people choose Sith because they don't want to be Jedi and they are more "free" than Jedi. Also if you don't take I too seriously you don't necessarily have to be evil. Moreover they most likely never even heard about EU Luke's Jedi order.
^Didn't expect less ;) How do you like it so far?
You'll love it, its pure perfection
^Valkorion lived for over 1000 years and yeah sith dont have to be evil and at least you dont have to follow stupid rules like a jedi, the only thing that sucks in being a sith is that literally everyone tries to kill you, jedi/mandalorians/bounty hunters even other sith, ofc being a powerful sith would make you feard all around the galaxy so might not be that big of a target but still should keep an eye on your apprentice while asleep ;)
in what way is he better? Like power, force, writing, motivations, likeability...? (If you mean overall i agree.)
