Luke isn't Luke Kenobi, Rey isn't Rey Skywalker
Gunray's lore is a perfect example of palpatine's manipulation tactics, I think he should be more of a well-known character
If youre a sith lord you might get murdered in your sleep by your apprentice at any time
For the most part, the whole concept of lightsaber fighting makes no sense.
In the prequels, the Jedi had been surviving without knowing the sith existed for thousands of years, so why were they being trained in force user vs. force user/lightsaber user vs. lightsaber user combat? No other enemies of the Jedi besides the Sith (or maybe mandalorian, but that's a stretch) even used lightsabers at all, so why were all Jedi so good at fighting them?
In the originals, Luke was the first lightsaber user to face Vader in decades (in canon). It doesn't seem like Vader needing an outlet for his pain would be enough of a reason for him to train lightsaber combat so much.
So honestly, the sequels pitting two seemingly untrained lightsaber users makes more sense (be it less enjoyable to watch) than either other trilogy.
Yes I realize that lightsaber fights are the most iconic part of star wars, so I'm not saying they should be ignored or cancelled, but logically they confuse me.
Imagine if grievous was finished by the first battle of geonosis! I think him fighting the jedi in the arena would be iconic.
If the armorer can kill 4 stormtroopers with a hammer and pair of pliers, imagine what she could do with a sword
Mace Windu's death breaks my heart every time.
Isn't it canonically hotter than a normal lightsaber? I wonder how that works.
March of the resistance is so so good, but Imperial March is probably the most iconic cinematic score of all time.

People underestimate how incredibly skilled Imperial guards are. They are hand-selected and put under intense subjection and mind warping from the dark side of the force by the emperor himself. Sometimes if the guards are close enough to the emperor himself, tehy can draw upon his power and use the dark side in combat. In training, they are made to regularly fight each other to the death to weed out the weaker guards.
The only way to become a true guard is the kill your instructor, much like the rule of two. One especially experienced instructor had an 80% kill rate of his students.
This is more for the old sith empire era, but the guards are able to definitely hold their own against jedi and sith. One guard single-handedly killed dozens of sith and even a few jedi.
I've never played squadrons or seen its gameplay. What separates it from battlefront 2 starfighter assault?
Omega was created by the republic, but possible it was chancellor palpatine's idea and he had more ideas for her under the Empire.
