I actually like TFA as a film, even though I don’t like it’s story in relation to Star Wars lore.
JJ Abrams did a really good job with the mystery box style of storytelling, in my opinion. Things like Rey’s parentage, Luke Skywalker’s whereabouts, the First Order’s origins, the Knights of Ren, who Snoke was, etc, were expertly utilized to draw the view into the story and built hype for the sequels. I think JJ’s a good director
The Clone Wars movie is corny, but goated
I agree. Finn was probably the most original character of the sequels, and he could’ve been a great main character. I would’ve loved to see the stormtrooper-turned-Jedi dynamic. His potential was really wasted imo

”I am one with the Force and the Force is with me”. Such a powerful scene watching Chirrut walk across to the terminal unharmed amid the crazy gunfire. Easily my fave.
Probably Chirrut Îmwe. I think he’s such a cool dude. And I like that he keeps his faith in the Force throughout the film.
Was floored that Disney actually killed anybody off, let alone everybody! I literally never expected them to do that, I figured they’d keep at least some of them alive for a sequel or spin-off.
This one’s tied with Solo for my fave of the Disney Star Wars movies, I think it’s a great gritty war movie that shows a more realistic view of what the common soldiers would have went through in such wars.
I was so happy when I first saw the trailer for that movie, I was unaware that Disney was doing spin-off films and thought we had to wait another year till late ‘17 for another movie. I was at the movies watching another movie in mid-2016 and next thing I know there’s stormtroopers and Star Destroyers on the screen and I’m like “Whaaaaaaattt?!??” Then looked it up and saw we were getting a new Star Wars film later that year, and immediately got rushed to the Emergency Room after my head literally exploded from this mind-blowing surprise (lol jk)
I once tried Wookie steak. Didn’t like it, was too Chewie for me…
ESB is good, but honestly I love A New Hope better.
Anh just has a sort of magic that ESB doesn’t have.

Thats disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing him again, he was easily my fave in RO.
I mean she could appear as a disguised rebel agent, who hides her Force powers. That would make sense, she could appear but not be flashing a lightsaber around or levitating stuff because she doesn’t want to attract the attention of the Inquisitorius.
