I’m looking to read through the new republic era legends books. So far I’ve read The Truce of Bakura (I have read the Thrawn trilogy and the duology, but I’ll reread them when I get to them).

Well written! I think this could be a good change. However, I disagree about the discrepancy with TBB vs the comics. I believe it was simply a retcon, and that it was intentional to some degree. I do agree that these retcons could and should be avoided.

Really great episode! I love how this played out, and really enjoyed watching it. Some of my thoughts:
I thought that the review part of the episode was really cool. Even though it was all part of the pt, it felt like something new. It almost seemed like a trailer.
I really liked the lack of obvious fan service in the episode. Like you said, I hope the development of new characters continues.
I like the emphasis on the repetition of Obi Wan’s life. The multiple scenes of the same thing really show how life is for him on Tatooine.
I loved the portrayal of Leia, and I thought it was funny when she looked into her cousin’s life.
That cliffhanger though… I don’t have time to watch the second episode so I’ll have to wait. Really excited!

@NozzyNotFunny I prefer to call her just “Rey” as I would like to avoid controversy. To be honest, neither Rey Skywalker nor Rey Palpatine really fits her.
Back to the subject, I like her appearance in TLJ and TRoS.

@Winstondebaecker Yes, that is an official map, although it is part of the legends continuity (the canon map would look about the same though). You can find it in The Essential Atlas which is a legends reference book, or probably if you search online.

Okay, that part may have seemed a bit rushed. However, you must remember the events building up to that. Anakin was committed to saving his wife, no matter the cost.

Every piece of content between RotS and TPM led up to his turn. The traumatic experiences of Anakin’s childhood, the anger and hate leading to the massacre of the tuskens, the attachment to Padme and the fear of loosing her all lead up to his turn. Palpatine began manipulating Anakin toward his turn in TPM, and we can see his efforts throughout the prequel trilogy and the clone wars.

I really enjoy reading about legends Luke. If we’re just talking canon, I like Anakin better over all.
