Lol I didn't expect anyone to see the reply to the 2 1/2 year old thread, I did search the rules for a necropost rule and couldn't find one so I made this to prove the haters wrong
By the way, every image I used there was from June 4th and 5th.
On June 1st, we literally had a Pac-Man collab.
On June 4th, as you can see in the last reply, a Darth Vader vs. Obi-Wan reference was made. (The guy who took the screenshot was even wearing the Mandalorian!)
On June 5th, Darth Vader was featured in the Chapter 3: Season 3 battle pass as the final base reward.
On June 8th, we started a comic book series with Marvel themselves.
On June 17th, we got the dead game Among Us-themed cosmetics.
On June 21st, Darth Vader was added to the map as a literal boss that wields his own special lightsaber. They put a LOT of effort into his abilities too, he can deflect bullets, throw his lightsaber, and use the Force to fling items at you, pull you toward him, and more. And when you eliminate him, he literally drops that lightsaber, which you can swing (of course), throw like a boomerang, block bullets, and roll to evade fire.
Also on the 21st, we got a second collab with Naruto, with many cosmetics, and even an extra game mode.
Point is, Fortnite definitely didn't fade away, even if it's been nearly 5 years and it's not all over the news anymore.

A message to you haters, Epic and Marvel are very good "friends", and iirc Marvel owns Star Wars.
Fortnite has done events, made countless cosmetics (like Obi-Wan, Mando, Darth Vader, stormtroopers, and many more), AND items that ACTUALLY AFFECT THE GAMEPLAY. Including lightsabers.
Heck, we even had a Star Wars reference in one of our story events!
And that was only a couple weeks ago. So you can hate all you want, but that isn't stopping the endless collabs these 2 giants have.
