I just don’t really see a point in that. It would just be a waste of time to be honest.
All of the casting in Rogue One was damn near perfect.
I say Poe. Although Luke is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and was in fact the one who destroyed the Death Star so obviously he was a great X-Wing pilot, Poe was able to achieve a lot more alone as a pilot. You have to remember that Luke actually had a lot of help during the Battle of Yavin before he destroyed the Death Star, whereas Poe was able to destroy the Starkiller Base with little help and clear out all of the surface cannons of the dreadnought by himself. So overall, I would say Poe is a better X-Wing pilot.

@Omnipotent Supreme we don’t know that yet. Her ending was left ambiguous so she could still be alive.

@MarkSteb2 of course I watched the movie. I love Rogue One, it’s like my favorite Disney Star Wars movie. Yes, Galen Erso wanted nothing to do with it after he learned Krennic was using his research on kyber crystals to design a planet killing weapon. But he was forced to continue his work after his wife was murdered and he was taken from his daughter. Either way the weapon was going to be built with or without him so he played the loyal man of the project whilst secretly sabotaging the Death Star by designing the reactor module to be unstable. It’s a very sad story and in my opinion makes Galen Erso one of the most underrated Star Wars characters.
I’ve just heard people say that Galen Erso couldn’t be called a hero because he was responsible for the weapon that destroyed Alderaan and the Rebels who died on Scarif to retrieve the Death Star plans. I did this poll to see if anyone else maybe agreed with that ideology because I honestly thought that was ridiculous considering the story.
In my opinion, Galen Erso is the most underrated Star Wars character because he is the man responsible for what would lead to the Death Star being destroyed. He was simply a research scientist studying kyber crystals. Unbeknownst to him, his research was being used to design a planet killing weapon so he fled from the Empire before being found and forced to continue his work on the Death Star after his wife was murdered and he was taken from his daughter. So he played the loyal man of the project just to sabotage the Death Star by designing the reactor module to be unstable so one blast to any part of it would destroy the entire station. His character managed to take a longstanding joke about the Death Stars weakness and turn it into an emotional story about a man who was forced to work on it so sabotaged his own work. In a way, you could say he was the true hero of the Death Stars destruction as he was responsible for the weakness to begin with.
I have heard people say that Galen Erso was not a hero because he designed the weapon that destroyed Alderaan and was responsible for the Rebels who died on Scarif to steal the plans, but that is a bad take in my opinion because he wanted nothing to do with it but was forced to work on it and was the reason it was able to be destroyed.
@WizardWarrior1 I love Rogue One and it’s like my favorite Disney Star Wars movie. I know Galen Erso was forced to work on the project but he wanted nothing to do with it. He knew if he refused to work then Krennic would realize he didn’t need him and continue the project without him. His wife was literally murdered and he was taken away from his daughter to work on the project. He played the loyal man of the project whilst secretly sabotaging the Death Star by designing the reactor module to be unstable. It’s a very sad story and in my opinion Galen Erso is probably the most underrated Star Wars character. Honestly, my favorite scene in Rogue One was Galen Erso’s message to Jyn because it managed to take a longtime joke the Death Star’s weakness and turn it into a sad story about a man who was forced to work on it after being separated from his family so he sabotaged it.

@GuardianofPeaceandChickens but the problem is there was never any proof that Thrawn was dead, and seeing how powerful he was if they didn’t take the threat seriously the New Republic would be in BIG TROUBLE. And now with Thrawn back in the galaxy, they are now facing a very dangerous threat that they were too arrogant to see coming. So I think in the end, they are going to regret their decision pretty quickly.
@Shambala108 Ahsoka was not apart of the Rebellion during the original trilogy.
May I ask why you voted yes?
