But on average the amount of F-18s on a carrier is 65.

It's a giant jungle which is difficult to navigate.
I talked to a Vietnam Vet who was in the 101st Airborne and had stayed out in jungles for weeks and it was the worst for him since bugs were always attracted to everyone so you would be kept awake all night.
