Did anyone read this book? What did you think?it was a bit underwhelming for me. Also doesn’t quite match up with Mon Mothma’s speech in Andor. Soujen was an interesting character.
Honestly it is a flaw of George Lucas…the original and prequels are very poorly written generally speaking…despite it we all obviously love Star Wars
Anakin amd Padme was poorly written…extremely poor writing
Yeah I do know that. That proves my point. That was retconned because they realized they had killed him off too soon. I normally hate when “dead” characters are brought back, but I do like what they did at the very end. But just like the other user pointed out. He lost every duel that ever mattered after that
Sorry but I completely disagree…Kenobi LETS Vader kill him…and sure Maul kills Jinn but he gets killed by Kenobi (seconds later) when he had clearly “beaten” him too
All Villains in Star Wars are poorly written when you think of it…but this is not just the Sequels or Disney…the originals were poorly done…Darth Vader doesn’t deliver in any of his duels…a lot of it is due to lack of special effects compared to now…but still…in the prequels Maul is disposed of quickly as well…anyway I don’t think this is specific to the last set of movies…but I agree that it is frustrating to watch and digest
I don’t think we’re talking about the same book

The sequels are great when it comes to actual acting and effects…plot is another matter
Did anyone read this book? It was cool taking a deeper look at Mace Windu. I just wish we would’ve gotten more of him going deep into Vaapad (ie actuallynueong the Dark Side)
It didn’t make any sense for them to have met each other again to begin with…it completely ruined the continuity with the movies…also if you were going to do it it should’ve played out completely differently…I do agree that the flashbacks were cool…but I consider Kenobi the worst out of the live action series that have come out
I don’t know man…Kenobi didn’t really give me any highs…the trailer was its best contribution…and Reva
Acolyte was not bad…the problem was presentation (at least for me)…Acolyte is supposed to be different from a Sith…to me that was a cool concept except that in the end Qimir was basically a Sith soprentice…other major issue for me was the fact that the Force/Magik was used to create the twin sisters…that is the Holy Grsil of Star Wars (ie Anakin Skywalker)…that should’ve been left alone…other tidbits I would’ve tweaked but those were the reasons why didn’t love it…but it was better than Book of Boba and Kenobi
The problem is you have an ending now…no matter what you try to do you k ke what it’ll amount to…I think smaller characters like Andor could work but any major characters would be useless…o don’t care what Thrawn does because I already know it amounts to nothing..I liked Mandalorian up until they started to tie it to the Sequels (cloning)…I’ll always watch whatever comes out but for me it’s a dead story…do the High Republic…that’s quite interesting
Caris Moonlight
The difference (to me anyway) is that the prequels AND ORIGINALS for that matter are poorly written and planned out…but the prequels didn’t CHANGE the premise of the story…I agree that Phantom Menace suffered from Anakin being a little boy (I personally don’t like the brave child angle) and it had Jar Jar Binks…but the sequels completely negate the whole story of Darth Bader etc…to me it’s not a Rey thing in itself cause her development is not all that different from Luke Skywalker in the originals
The sequels don’t mesh well with the saga…that is the problem (to me anyway)…I have no desire for more lore about the sequels…even Ahsoka and hence Thrawn can’t save it because you know it’ll amount to nothing in the end…they don’t even appear in the movies
Did anyone read this book? It’s good that it seems we are finally reaching a conclusion to the overall story
Jedi Night was an amazing episode…and his death scene was epic…I just which a “bigger” character would’ve died this way…not minimizing Kanan Jarrus but I think this should’ve been used for Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, or the likes
I don’t think Kanan Jarrus is that popular…I liked him in Rebels though
Canon Great
Rogue One
Andor
Mandalorian
High Republic
Canon Bad
Sequel Trilogy
Kenobi
Acolyte
Bad storytelling…but it’s not the first time this is done
