As a republic citizen I would have said to leave them alone as long as they don’t attack us. I know everything was orchestrated by Palpatine so peace was never an option, but I always believe that if a people want to go their separate ways let them instead of starting a bloody war because they did. The same philosophy applies to me for real life nations.

I chose the empire but if the poll had the New Republic from Legends instead of rebels then I would have voted for it since I think they improved on their ship designs.

I honestly was ok with the Last Jedi explanation Kylo told her, that her parents were nobodies who were gamblers or something. It would have been cool to have the protagonist be powerful without an important heritage, just be a nobody who rose.

I’ve repeated that show multiple times even to have on the background
I think I would have as a citizen before any known atrocities were committed since at the moment I would have just seen a destructive war and a corrupt senate, so the idea of security would have appealed to me.
