So this thought just came to me, but what if after Ahsoka left the Jedi Order The council offered a new Padawan to Anakin? How would Anakin react, would he accept the new Padawan or not?

I was wondering if before Return of The Jedi when he saved Luke were there moments where Darth Vader almost returned to the Light Side of the force and if so what stopped him and pulled him back to the Dark Side?

We know that had Qui Gon Jinn survived his duel on Naboo with Maul that he would have become the Master of Anakin Skywalker instead of Obi Wan Kenobi, and that Qui Gon's teachings would have most likely prevented Anakin from turning to the Dark Side.

For Example Qui Gon would have allowed Anakin to save his Mother in time and prevent her death, and when Anakin was worried about Padame dying Qui Gon would have given Anakin the advice he wanted to hear in order to prevent her death.

But what about Ahsoka? Now I'm not actually sure if Ahsoka even would have become Anakin's Padawan if Qui Gon Jinn was still alive, but let's just say she does, when she is frammed for the bombing of the Jedi Temple, and expeled from the Order there's no doubt that Qui Gon would have helped Anakin try to clear Ahsoka's name, and just like in the original timeline they would discover that Barris Ofree is the real culprit and clear Ahsoka of all charges. Who knows maybe even Obi Wan would have helped Anakin and Qui Gon try to clear Ahsoka as well, but anyways when Ahsoka is offered to return as to the Jedi Order would she still leave, or with Qui Gon supporting her as well would she stay this time?

So this just kind of struck me as odd, but why didn't Darth Vader hire Cad Bane as one of the Bounty Hunters to track down the Millenium Falcon. Considering how good Cad Bane was at his job he might have had a really easy time locating it, maybe even faster then Boba Fett did.

So I was just curious about something and that is if Anakin has been granted the Rank of Jedi Master would that have prevented his turn to the Dark Side?

So Darth Vader has fought a lot of people during his time, and I was just curious, out of everyone he's gone up against was there anyone who has truly managed to impress him with their skills. And I'm not talking about experience Jedi like Obi Wan or Ashoka, or Luke, but more like young Jedi, specifically Padawans was there anyone Darth Vader admired and respected?
