While I agree clones were far superior soldiers to the stormtroopers, I don't think that was necessarly a terrible mistake. It was a costly endeavor, and they were stretching Jango's DNA template, making them use a diminished amount that might like cause degredation.

While it may have been a excuse by Tarkin to add more funding to Stardust AKA the Death Star, it wasn't a bad idea to replace clones with conscripts.

And also we gotta think of the roles the clones and stormtroopers served in the narrative.

Clones were the good guys so obviously they wouldn't miss their shots like the stormtroopers may have in the original trilogy. It's how I see it anyway

I would prefer keeping the clones but switching to conscripts wasn't a bad idea at all, but it was more like a excuse to save cost to fund the Death Star

Tarkin for how his ambition led him to make dumb decisions, his doctrine to rule through fear and him blowing up Aldeeran, literally the worst mistake anyone could make, because the systems fled to join the rebellion right after

I made a post about a clone punching a droid in the Clone Wars using the "Tragedy of Darth Plageuis the Wise." But when I checked it, it wasn't there? Is there reason as to why is disappeared?
