The youtube channel called “Explained Moments” loves to explore star wars theories and I was wondering if anyone else here has watched any of their videos. I enjoy them and it’s made me delve a bit more into star wars lore and I think if you haven’t watched or listened to any of their videos then you absolutely should

I’m unsure why but I’ve had some issues with running the KOTOR games I feel like because of this I havent been able to play the games at their max yet. So considering that I have to go with force unleashed
Yea haha ur kinda right. Also yeah i got the name wrong I rewatched the sequels just before posting and got briefly confused between new republic and final order
Exactly per the title. I really liked the sequels aside from certain specific things that made them horrible. Such as Han’s death, Luke’s death, the dumpy lightsaber combat, Rey’s character development and the insane scale of the New Order’s fleet. I also hated the names First Order and New Order it seems like they took 2 seconds to come up with it.
Other than that I feel like if these issues were reversed then it’s absolutely possible for the movies to live up to the Star Wars name.
Also i only just realised that Starkiller base is on Ilum?? I don’t know if ive been living under a rock or what but finding this out absolutely devastated me.
There are many interpretations on what the Force is but also on what it means to be on the Light or Dark side. I've heard people say that the force has a will and that part of its will is that the dark side is generally an ugly manipulation of the force.
However I believe if the force is an aware 'being' so to say, then the dark side is a purposeful part of it made specifically to be utilised by force sensitives alongside the light.
Further, I hold no belief in the opinion that the dark side was never meant to be used (as has been argued by some theory youtubers).
I'm not sure if I have put through my thoughts properly but what does everyone else think?
Do you think the Dark Side is meant to be used? Or do you think it's just an ugly part of the force tapped in through manipulation of the force itself?
It is well known that grievous is an infamous jedi killer and also that he has no ability to use the force.
How come these jedi didn’t just…you know…use the force? I feel like fighting grievous would be exceptionally simple, just don’t use your lightsaber except to defend yourself if the fight begins closely, but if the fight begins from a distance (like Kenobi v Grievous in ROTS), just use the force to break his grasp on his lightsabers or blind him or fly him around or something incredibly simple and effective?
As far as I’m concerned, R2’s memory was never wiped. This means he has experienced EVERYTHING from Ep 1 to Ep 9 and remembers it ALL. He watched Anakin grow into a Jedi, watched him raise Ahsoka and serve in the Republic-Separatist conflict, fall into darkness and Father a child with Padme who then dies.
He then has to serve on the side that serves against Anakin, definitely hearing of the tragedies and horrors Anakin commits as Darth Vader. Witnesses C3-POs memory being wiped multiple times, essentially losing his closest friend and having to build their relationship from the ground up multiple times. He serves with Luke and Leia, watching them grow into fine adults, witnessing Master Yoda die, Obi-Wan too, then Luke and Leia aswell.
A lot happens to R2 and i can’t stop thinking about it

They actually used that real gun as a prop for many of the E-11 blasters in A New Hope, essentially what we see on screen are expired guns
Evenso, you don’t need to have a go at them for being invalid, if they say something invalid just tell them and move on

What i meant was why were you talking about wielding a lightsaber without force sensitivity when it has no relevance to the topic question

Anyone ever think that wielding lightsabers with the force would be much safer and easier when duelling any opponent? Your risk is significantly lessened and your opponent has no choice but to defend
