Mon Mothma funded many anti-imperial cells even before the Rebellion officially formed. Later on she became the civilian leader of the Rebels after denouncing Emperor Palpatine and going into hiding. She also conspired with other Senators who secretly opposed the Empire to get more troops. Without her, the Rebellion wouldn't have nearly as many troops. She also met Garm who provided their fleet.

A tie between Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera. Mon Mothma is the leader of the Rebel Alliance and the face that brings hope to many despaired citizens. She doesn't just fight, she helps on the political side as well to make sure people are cared for. Saw is an agent of chaos who terrorizes the Empire the way they terrorize innocent worlds. He's the one who does the ugly but necessary jobs for a Rebellion. Both are two essential parts of any kind of Uprising to a tyrannical regime.

@Shambala108 well that's because all of them with the exception of Bastilla Shan, are Old Republic Sith Lords, Bastila is a Jedi Padawan from the Old Republic. You want to get familiar with that error, just pick up Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic or read some of the Old Republic novels.

It's a hard contest, but ultimately I think Revenge of the Sith because it's the darkest Star Wars film ever made so far. We finally see the fall of the Jedi and the Republic and the rise of the Empire.
I think they're both awesome but I like Rex cuz he reminds me a little bit of RC-1138 from Delta Squad.
