Make them not dumb and comical, yeah sure clankers and stormtroopers have always been made mentally deficient as a trope and comedic relief, but really I'd like a star wars story where they're both hard as nails and thus make the heroes look badass for overcoming them.
A clone wars story where the clankers are intelligent or programmed enough that they put pressure on the clones and main characters in a way where it looks like a fight for their lives, instead of power rangers Vs dumb robots.
Make the clankers scary like they're all IG-88, make it so there's 'thrilling' action, a sort of "will our heroes survive?" Kind of cliffhanger.
Modern star wars stories tend to be the heroes just slap their way through hordes of dumb enemies and finish the story with their feet up. A villain's respected more by the audience if they're competent, believable and relatable. Making the clankers dumb whiney sounding droids just put me off the whole clone wars era, because the villains weren't just 'not likeable', they were idiotic and insufferable.
I couldn't have a friend that had suckers for fingertips, so Rodians are a no go, plus also Sullustians sound like an excited Italian crossed with a puppy so they'd be pretty entertaining to have around the place.
Take one as my co pilot like he were Nien Nub
Ive always seen the Stormtrooper helmet as the symbol of starwars, more relatable than Vader, as everyone can't be a sith lord.
But the Stormtrooper Corps is always recruiting, and conscripting, so there's no choice. Get in line citizen and vote Stormtrooper, resistance is futile.
The K wing, as the description in the Empire at War: Remake Mod says
"The way it deals with Star Destroyers would make the Chaos Gods squeamish"
Has more firepower under the sun stuffed onto its wings and in its hull than an A10 Warthog on steroids, and even has room left over inside for the whole kitchen sink.
Hope is overrated when you have a Squadron of K Wings.
"Keeping Mundi in the dark wasn't easy"
I think his is one of the saddest, expects a charge alongside his clones only to turn around to a firing squad, cut down during an ongoing battle by his own troopers. Who then step over his corpse and carry on fighting droids like nothing happened.
Hey death note was good, but anime has its place and it's no Star Wars, that's all novels and films not kids cartoons. It's why I dislike the clone wars and rebels TV shows.
An anime? What would the original cast and crew of the first trilogy think if they were told their legacy was going to be honoured... With an anime?...
Sorry but Star Wars isn't an edgy teen cartoon where every character is an adolescent with spiky hair and wild eyes.
Yes, but bring back Pandemic studios to make it, no more Disney and EA corporations.
Lest you get ungrateful.
I feel like there's no wrong answers in this poll, no matter what you pick it's just 'good stuff'.
Legends Luke, he gets more stuff done compared to canon Luke, and there's no chugging alien milk on a random island living in self pittying exile.
@TheMaster3888 Yeah, it was that many years ago, wow I agree time does fly scarily by.
I went to the cinemas to see it, and left feeling that it was a 'knock off copy' of A New Hope.
The Sectutor's a good flagship and carrier, but that Imperial class is your main 'ship of the line' more versatile and kitted out for more types of operations than a purpose built carrier like the Secutor.
Wouldn't complain with being captain of either vessel, but I feel I could place more trust in an ISD.
It's always good to have a bit of both, but never too much of one, just don't go too hard on that dark side kids. It's makes you crazy and blow up planets.
Can I say everything? Because please don't make me choose which is better out of Lucas' vision for the story and Williams' composing, they're both gods in my opinion.
And the story and the world building, hell, everything fitting together is 'the best thing'.
Uhm, I'd use dark side force as a way of protection, defeat a sith with his own powers, scare people into not wanting to start fusses around me.
If using the dark side means wanting everyone you use it on to miserable, then that must be what evil is, and I don't like that.
Knights of the Republic gets more likes than battlefront? Wow ok that does surprise me I have to say, for me the rise of the empire campaign is the golden highlight of the whole battlefront franchise (pandemic games versions and EA versions).
Getting to play order 66 as a clone was awesome, especially as in the Legends universe it states that the clones knew the endgame and went along with the sith anyway, really cool story of you playing a soldier intentionally betraying the whole galaxy for 'muh chancellor'.
Great old game I gotta say, and I picked up Knights of the Republic a while ago, while world of warcraft style games are not my thing at all. I did like it, the story and setting is good, the days of the old old Republic.
Kyle is special compared to most Jedi, so I'd give him yellow because it makes him stand out, purely on that.
Though I know in lore a lightsabers colour represents 'the character' of the Jedi or Sith wielding it, I remember green is for diplomatic and neogiationable Jedi who use force powers more than combat, for instance.
I'm too serious for this, I'd see it as an insult to the franchise, but if people find it funny then go ahead and make a market for it. It's a free country and I won't deprive anyone of their dreams and opportunities.
