Kylo was known to push the First Order engineers to their limits to create his personal ships. The descendant of two of the galaxy’s greatest pilots, it’s likely he simply kept wanting to try out new ships. Considering the TIE Whispers were a general line of TIE Fighters used in 35 ABY, he might’ve just thought that a modified Whisper would be an improvement for him over the Silencer. It may be worth noting that the standard Whisper had a hyperdrive, and that Kylo used his own Whisper(s) as his personal craft when hunting Rey on Pasaana and Kef Bir. Maybe the Whisper model supported certain features or improvements, such as a hyperdrive, that the Silencer couldn’t.
Two kings don’t need to fight each other
Love to see it
The EU is still “canon” to itself. They just aren’t updating it anymore. There are three parallel universes: George’s universe, the old EU, and the new Disney “canon” EU. Pick whichever one you like or jump between as you please; each more or less consistent within itself.
I’d say it’s a pretty even mix. What do you mean by “old”, though? I’ve been a Star Wars fan my whole life and the sequels have been around for almost half that time.
I mean, form is just a fighting style. Forms are just made up of different moves and techniques. This is kind of like asking if someone can switch between running and walking. If you know the form, you can use whatever moves from that form you want.
People need a scapegoat to put their hate onto. Her being a woman makes that much easier for many. That being said, the general direction of Lucasfilm’s development has been spotty lately with all the delays and cancellations - but whether that’s normal for the industry, exclusively Kennedy’s fault or any other thing is unknown to us morons on the internet.
I love democracy
All nine movies are fantastic in their own ways. Everyone should at least watch the original trilogy (episodes 4, 5, and 6).
I think this kind of counts, I saw Hayden Christensen on an old episode of Goosebumps
Each page has a dedicated canon and legends section. you can tell which is which by the banner in the top left corner of each page, above the information table.
The lightsabers are training lightsabers, as stated in the first episode (where Kai is given Yoda’s old training saber. Also, regular lightsabers can be tuned to a less powerful training setting that doesn’t cut through things (as seen in Rebels). You think those Jedi Masters are gonna give 5 year olds real savers?
Most things that people say are plot holes usually aren’t, just a misunderstanding.
Agreed!
I’d say it’s more like this:
Canon: Definitely happened
Legends: Happened (in a different continuity), or could have happened (from a certain point of view)
Non-Canon: Didn’t happen
Canon and Legends are essentially two parallel stories with some shared elements.
He didn’t just go from “dark side” to “light side” - he decided he was done doing jobs for people who didn’t care about him and could easily get him killed. the belly of the sarlaac is probably the closest boba has been to death - that changes you. he’s still a bounty hunter and a criminal - hell, he’s a crime lord now - but now he’s doing it on his own terms, with his own sense of morals. that’s about as badass as it gets, if you ask me.
Finally, someone with brains!
Unpopular opinion: I like Star Wars
Wow! A thorough and genuine analysis of something ST-related. Never thought I’d see the day. Well thought out and very interesting. I am quite interested in how they will decide to build the galaxy going forward and think that a Republic-less galaxy is a fascinating idea.
We have got to find new things to talk about
The entire page on a Wookieepedia article is already full of trivia facts. I think trivia on other wikis is just there because the pages aren’t all that well organized. Half the time, the trivia on other wikis is just information already stated earlier in the page.
