My apologies in advance if this has been answered elsewhere, but where did "Wilhuff" Tarkin come from? Yes, if we're going by the Canon continuity, the name first appeared in the 2014 Tarkin novel, but there doesn't seem to be any reference as far as the exact origins from the older Legends continuity. Any confirmation or clarification on this?

Tales of the Pirates. Hondo Ohnaka's backstory could be told, if Jim Cummings is up for it. Then there is the pirate characters from Skeleton Crew, like Jod Na Nawood, who could have a similar treatment in storylines to Morgan Elsbeth in Tales of the Empire.

Not gonna lie, when I saw "the CW" I thought this post mean The CW Network.
But regarding The Clone Wars...Lol While I don't think they need to make another theme park, I agree that they should branch out on the content rather than being Sequel Trilogy focused. Adding elements of Mandalorian and Grogu in the Millennium Falcon attraction is a start, but it would be nice to feature more elements from the original six films of the Skywalker Saga.

Barriss Offee - Tales of the Empire
For the moment, I think Tales of the Underworld is my favorite of the "Tales" series. But as far as the individual arcs, Dooku was done fairly well. It was certainly among the more tragic. But for the sake of argument, I think I'll give Morgan my vote, because I did enjoy her Tales from the Empire arc.

They're not the worst movies? Sure. But they are certainly flawed.
From Rey's identity, to "Somehow Palpatine returned." Not hating on the return of the big villain, which happens in most media, and Palpatine even returned in Legends continuity, but there was the lack of an explanation that ended up being part of the "Project Necromancer" plot which seems more afterthought than planned out. What was worse is how the Sequels handled the OG cast, like if we're talking an Episode VII, the first decision to make is where to put Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, maybe Lando and however many others in one room. A potential reunion wasted.
As I wrote elsewhere, I think The Force Awakens is the best of the trilogy, I think The Last Jedi is overhated but flawed, and The Rise of Skywalker was a conclusion to an inconsistent trilogy. As someone who loves Star Wars, I don't hate them, but I don't love them either.

I respectfully disagree. I do think Episode VII: The Force Awakens is the best of the Sequel Trilogy, and even upon my first viewing, I thought Episode VIII: The Last Jedi was okay and overhated. That said, neither are among my very top favorite films, nor are they "the best Star Wars movies ever made" as you say. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back for me.

I like Solo more than most, but Rogue One did indeed do better. I would have liked them to make a proper adaptation of A.C. Crispin's trilogy, but I know it is non-canon now.

Tales of the Clones is more likely, given that the "Tales" series are centered around content relating to TCW and the Mandoverse. But I wouldn't oppose something else, like "Tales of the Sith", "Tales of the Rebellion"< "Tales of the Droids", "Tales of the Hutts", or even the unlikely scenario of giving the other series a Season 2.

^I'd say "bittersweet to describe Rebels ending.
But yeah, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was very tragic. That was the goal, given that we are supposed to see the formation of the Empire, Jedi slaughtered, Anakin becoming Vader, etc. And I'd say while it did work out in Palpatine/Sidious, it was all because of destiny.

Sigh, I am a sucker voting for Canon/Reboot because I am lacking in Legends/EU knowledge. Other than the films, Tartakovsky's Clone Wars and Filoni's TCW, I am almost clueless on the character's EU history. I am caught up on Tales of the Jedi, which I'd be lying if I said I didn't find some enjoyment in, with Dooku's story being a redeeming quality in an otherwise disappointing "Tales" series. But I sympathize with those who don't like the newer stories told. And I agree that they did turn what was a more complicated character, a Sith Lord who was still conflicted by the Clone Wars, into someone who was clearly embracing the dark through and through.

For the sake of argument, Tartakovsky's EU Grievous. Speaking as someone who likes TCW Grievous, even though he is pretty much the version ultimately developed for the one-film appearance in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Design-wise, I still like the final version, even with the cough and cowardliness, but as far as presentation, Tartovsky did great just from the debut episode.

Barris turning bad happened in both Legends and Canon, which seems to be most arguments. Really, the only thing you can't like are stories that released post-Disney, I.e. Tales of the Empire.
But that said, I like the idea that Bariss turned bad but going back to the good side. If not only to have more Jedi killed in Order 66. I'm only just noticing how many survived. Ashoka living was fine, same with Kanan and Ezra, then it became apparent that there are more than a few surviving Jedi by the Mandoverse. Regardless on how the Sequel Trilogy introduced "The Last Jedi."

As someone who views The Book of Boba Fett as a guilty pleasure, the flashbacks were great, and the Mando-centered episode (while a tad unnecessary) was watchable. The events that follow Mando S2, i.e. present day, didn't sit well with me. Hiring the biker gang without knowing for sure if they were worth hiring was one issue. And then there was the role they played in the finale: "If you want to abandon Mos Espa and hide in your fortress, go ahead. We're staying. The people who live here need our protection." Like...when in the series, beyond being hired by Boba, did they show any care for the town and its people? And why the hell would Boba ignore the logic in going to reinforce himself in his fortress, grab his starship and his rancor, rather than risk everything there and now. Yes, one would say differently if it was Fennec or Mando's idea versus an underlying, but still...common sense says "GO GET THAT RANCOR!"
But that is just me, and I know that may be one versus many issues other fans have.
