They're not the worst movies? Sure. But they are certainly flawed.
From Rey's identity, to "Somehow Palpatine returned." Not hating on the return of the big villain, which happens in most media, and Palpatine even returned in Legends continuity, but there was the lack of an explanation that ended up being part of the "Project Necromancer" plot which seems more afterthought than planned out. What was worse is how the Sequels handled the OG cast, like if we're talking an Episode VII, the first decision to make is where to put Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, maybe Lando and however many others in one room. A potential reunion wasted.
As I wrote elsewhere, I think The Force Awakens is the best of the trilogy, I think The Last Jedi is overhated but flawed, and The Rise of Skywalker was a conclusion to an inconsistent trilogy. As someone who loves Star Wars, I don't hate them, but I don't love them either.
