After looking at the forum discussions, I feel those working on the Old Republic project are biased towards the Republic and the light side. The consensus is as follows:
* Republic PCs are assumed to be played as heroically as possible (Light V in game)
* Imperial PCs are assumed to be played as villainously as possible (Dark V in game)
In TV Tropes terms, this is called assuming black and white morality.
Also, the Outlander/Commander is assumed to be a Republic lightsider simply because the Republic is good, am I right? So you're assuming no canonicity for the Imperial PCs simple because they're evil then:
If this isn't bias, I don't know what is. Or is it because you're assuming what's most likely to be canonised?
