With the release of “Tales of the Underworld”, many will now wonder what stories should be next to explore. I believe that we should get to see about none other than…pilots
There are many pilots from which to choose to explore (For example Wedge Antilles, Hera Syndulla, Poe Dameron, etc). But there is one particular pilot that has so much potential for a story.
I’m talking about Kazuda “Kaz” Xiono from Star Wars: Resistance. If you watched Disney XD around 2018-2020, then you might remember this series, especially this character. I know this series is underrated because it’s aligned with the sequel trilogy (which I don’t understand why so much hate), but since Hamato Xiono, who first appeared in this TV Show, made a live action debut in Ahsoka, I wanted to explore more about the Xiono family and how they relate to the story of the new republic era.
So this are my ideas for 3 episodes of Tales of Pilots with Kaz
The Race
In Episode 3 “The Triple Dark” from Star Wars: Resistance, we learned that Kaz has a trophy which he keeps with him at all times. This first episode could explore this first race, as well as more about Kaz’s childhood growing up in Hosnian Prime. This could also meant the appearance of Kaz’s mother, who I have the headcanon that she’s opposite to her husband, who is cold and distant, instead she’s sweet and loving.
The Chase
This episode could explore about Kaz’s decision to join the military.I mean, in the show, it’s stated that he always wanted to be a pilot, but the Star Wars universe has different types of pilots. The plot of this episode could be about Kaz recently graduating from the flight academy of Hosnian Prime catching the eye of a First Order recruiter who wants him to join the ranks. Kaz could be tempted about the idea, but his father interferes, not trusting the First Order. I know Hamato has a history of neglecting the good guys, but I don’t fully believe that he would ally with the bad guys neither. So the First Order makes an attempt to capture Kaz’s father, which leads to Kaz chasing after them. He rescues his father and instead joins the military to track down the First Order.
The Victory
It’s been confirmed that the characters from Star Wars:Resistance were present at the final Battle in Star Wars:Rise of Skywalker, so I imagine the final episode as Kaz’s point of view of the Battle of Exegol. We could expect cameos from the Aces, Yeager and even Tam. But it could also mean we can see some of these characters being killed during the battle. Kaz would end up unknowingly using the force to shoot a target (like Luke Skywalker did on the Death Star). The episode will end with Kaz sacrificing himself for the Resistance and avenging Hosnian Prime’s destruction. I imagine Poe Dameron (who has a major role in the Star Wars:Resistance series) making a cameo at the end of the episode finding an injured Kaz at the surface of the planet.

Like, seriously. I'm not joking. Last year, I started watching Resistance out of slight boredom and curiosity, and it's come to be something that I love.
Much like Rebels (which was the first animated series I watched), it receives a lot of unessacary hate. If people actually gave Resistance a shot, then I think they might actually like it. The characters are great, and the plot progression is pretty good, even though it may seem plotless at times. Also, there's just something about the unique animation style that I like.
My favorite episode is S1 E9 "The Platform Classis", which gives us some backstory for Yeager (my favorite Resistance character), who's kinda mysterious at times.
I want to start reading books along with watching the shows and movies, but I don't know what books to read.
Criteria:
You enjoyed the book
It has some significance to the TV and movies (not just sharing or introducing a character, but explaining something unexplained or introducing new things such a as naming the High Republic and telling about the Old Republic)
It is canonical
Also, I really want to read book about the Sith before and when the Jedi hunted them to extinction and how Qimir's line of Sith came to be. I also really want to learn what the Knights of Ren are, because all I've heard of them are that Kylo Ren mentioned that his Knights of Ren would do something to the Resistance in The Last Jedi. If there are any TV show/movie references to them, tell me about those too.

You know, if Star Wars ever had a sequence of Vader/Anakin or Luke experiencing something like this, than my life would be complete:

According to Wookieepedia, the First Order-Resistance War was a "year long pan-galactic war". I find it hard that the destruction of two governments to happen so shortly. It seems like the First Order dissolved overnight. What about the remaining First Order generals and admirals vying for power? Were they just supposed to surrender themselves to the New Republic? Both Canon and Legends said it took a while for Imperial warlords to stop, in fact, to my knowledge, in Legends the Empire never ceased to exist, and just evolved. So why doesn't Canon go into detail about the fall of the First Order? It would've made sense if the war lasted for 4 years, the real life time gap between The Force Awakens and Rise of Skywalker, so things would have a realistic time frame. So, why do you guys think the First Order-Resistance War so short? Share your thoughts in the comments.
So, let's say that the New Republic had a military, and that military was about the size of the Republic military during the height of the Clone Wars. (3 billion soldiers if my calculations are correct, since in AOTC, it was stated 200,000 units, and the standard amount of soldiers in an (For a basis, let's use American units) American unit is 10,000-15,000, so 15,000 x 200,000 is 3 billion, and we're not even counting the "million more well on the way". But my math is usually wrong, so, if you got another answer, write in in the comments please.) Let's say they also have the equipment of the Resistance but in greater numbers. So, could the New Republic defeat the First Order, or would the First Order come out on top? Share your thoughts in the comments.
