Since Palpatine died for the second time during The Rise Of Skywalker, is it really his final death or is it possible for him to return?
Legends have it that each subsequent Star Wars trilogy will end with Palpatine somehow return and having to be finally defeated.
Was very happy to see Ian McDiarmid had an interview lately where he very unsubtly said it would be unsalvagably ridiculous for Palpatine to return again.
He would max out savageness if he refused to work with disney or use his likeness for further content with him in live action
It will always be a background issue a What-If scenario.
The disney side of the canon is a pathway to many story ideas some consider to be undesirable
