Also editing the source is the only way to add your name. Annoying, yes, but it is the only way to add your name.

Add 4 tildes after a hashtag (#~~~~) underneath your favorite character(s) and their votes. The only way is to edit it (so there will be some code that you have to scroll through to find your character(s)). Don't worry, it seems scary but I promise that's the way to do it haha.

It's not showing up in the editing history, so I think you were just editing it at the same time as someone else because there is a recent edit made at the same time as yours. Maybe just try again?
