Guys... Allen from Generation Tech shared his theory that Qimir is not actually Mae's master but a "sockpuppet" of her master, and this thought has messed me up. 😭 He pointed out Qimir's line about how her master "collects" people and also how the Coven possessed Torbin, which foreshadows that this power will be a major plot device.

I also remember when her master appeared, he almost looked like he was a puppet being lowered on stage in the background. While he wasn't literally being lowered on a rope in-universe, I now wonder if this was a creative way to foreshadow that the master enslaves individuals' minds and uses them as puppets from afar.

Huh, that could be really interesting and would explain how the Sith Master has managed to keep his identity a secret for so long.

I just thought they look the same and acted very similar, plus he said that your eyes can deceive you and the guy from rouge one was blind, plus does it matter what actor place the role?

If it's that it's the same actor to be the same character then Ashoka isn't Ashoka and is an clone of her with an different voice.

I really enjoyed this episode. Halfway through I realized that they were on the planet where we see the fight scenes with the Sith from the trailer, and I got so excited. The ending was great. Mae having a total change of heart was a little too abrupt in my mind.

All the speculation has been that Qimir is the Sith, and after this episode it has only gotten louder. There is certainly a lot of evidence for it. It explains how the Sith got there so quickly. Personally though, I hope that it isn’t him. I want the Sith to just be a separate character that we haven’t met yet. I hope they are just tricking us with Qimir. Mother Korril is another theory I’ve heard, but I think that is unlikely. It almost feels like the Snoke theory era all over again.

I never expected that the Jedi would encounter the Sith so early in the series. I’m really curious how they are going to explain this. In a hundred years they still believe that the Sith are extinct. Does nobody get back to tell the tale? Do they somehow convince themselves that they aren’t dealing with a Sith, but something else? Or is there some sort of cover up, and a few high ranking Jedi actually were aware the Sith existed. I can’t wait to see what they do. I know that a lot of people are hating on the show, but it has me on the edge of my seat. I don’t think it lives up to movie quality, nor do any of the Disney+ shows, but it is still good.
