Xenophobia is the dislike of people from other countries (or in this case species).

And on the account of the Wookiees and Geonosians, the Empire killed "all" of the geonosians, though we don't know how many there were in the first place, and maybe our friend Klik-Klak didn't know what was happening on his entire planet all at once. Maybe more Geonisians are still underground? Who knows. And the wookies fought an open war against the Empire and captives had to work as POWs. What about the Fauleen? They were very high up in imperial politics, along with all of the humans.
I think you’re just pulling straws that aren’t there. If Rebels told us the Empire genocided the Geonosians and that Klik-Klak and the egg are all that’s left, there’s no reason to assume otherwise unless canon material hints at it. While it’s possible other Geonosians have survived, pure possibilities/what if scenarios shouldn’t be used in factual arguments imo, and even if it were true, that doesn’t change how the Empire intended to wipe them all out, which means they’re still just as evil/xenophobic.
And the wookies fought an open war against the Empire and captives had to work as POWs.Not just POWs, civilians who had no part in fighting against the Empire were also enslaved. There’s really no justifying it, the Empire wanted physically strong workers and the Wookiees were there, it wasn’t ever about the Wookiees rebelling against the Empire. Plus I’m pretty sure the reason the Wookiees rebelled in the first place was because the Empire invaded their world and enslaved their people.
How do you know that they were civilians?
Read this
“The Empire enslaved the Wookiees not because they were a meaningful threat to the Empire but because their massive, robust physiology allowed them to work long and hard in extreme conditions.”
They even classified the Wookiees as non-sentient, which is yet another proof that the Empire is xenophobic.
@Eighthnickel151 Tbf in the EU at least, aliens were in the Empire, they were just the 1% and even of that 1% very few got into any notable positions. Apart from Thrawn however, we do have at least 1 Major within the Stormtrooper Corps, Stafuv Rahz and Imperial Army General Kaleesh Sk'ar. If we wanna take a step further, there's also Near-Humans within the Empire. Power is what really mattered to Palpatine in the end, it didn't really matter to him what you were so long as you were extremely capable and could serve him, making yourself useful. The guy didn't really care about the whole Xenopobic thing, considering.....he truly didn't give a damn about anyone other than himself.
But yeah, the fact there was harsh treatment and having a xenophobia mindset, you weren't going to see aliens in the Empire in great numbers, ontop of the fact....well Humans being the prominent species in the galaxy.
Though I'm sure Canon has done any away with this sort of thing, as far as putting aliens in the Empire.
So. We have an empire that decided at least one species was not sentient and "allowed them to be used as slave labour". So did they enslave them? Do we know to what extent this "slavery" was? Perhaps they were POWs as I have already stated? where is it clearly stated that the Empire forcefully OWNED people. That is the definition of slavery. Owning someone, so where is this stated?

It was also shown in Fallen Order and Star Wars Rebels. In the latter, one of the Wookiee slaves was a literal child so that should answer your question about POWs.
I’d recommend reading these two articles for more examples of the Empire’s xenophobia:

What were those supposed to tell me?
Okay, enough of this. @Lego0626 you asked people to provide you examples of the Empire's xenophobia, and they did exactly that. Instead of discussing that or simply learning from those examples provided, you just start arguing with people again.
You were warned before about arguing with people in regards to the Empire. No one has a problem if you're a fan of the Imperial aesthetics or think that their star destroyers, stormtroopers or what have you look cool and stuff like that. But un-ironic defending or advocacy of the franchise's literal antagonists is either trolling, or delusional to a worrying degree.
It's remincisent of Warhammer 40k fans that un-ironically love and admire the Imperium of Man while ignoring Games Workshop's intentions of portraying them in a satirical light. In much the same way, the Empire is meant to be Star Wars' "big bad evil." They're not meant to be looked up to or defended with such zeal.
So consider this your final warning: stop with these posts that seek nothing but conflict and senseless arguing. Think of some other topics to discuss here or alternatively find a new hobby altogether, because we really don't need to get into this same conversation each time this ends up happening.
And that'll be the end of this particular post. Thank you.
