The Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 14 "Flash Strike". I said it last week, and I'll say it again: "It's on!" It may not be everyone's cup of blue milk, but I'll get to that later.
That opening scene with got my blood pumping. First and foremost, at long last, Clone Force 99 and former Imperial admiral have arrived to Tantiss. Honestly, with how much was put into making sure Tantiss stayed secret, it's no surprise that Doctor Hemlock and his goons were expecting them. Omega and friends, well...I don't think they needed the Force to know. Lol Rampart being part of the action was amusing, especially when he realized his life was at stake, "You've got to be kidding!" Haha...TBB, quit making me like Rampart - unlike Kallus, the former admiral is still a sleemo! Although Doctor Scalder is much worse, especially when a child claims to be hungry: "It will pass." Bigger sleemo! Speaking of doctors, I'm starting to put more faith in Emerie Karr after her and Echo's first meeting. And Hunter wasn't kidding when he said Echo did find a way. "Thanks for the hand." Ha! That poor inventory droid. Seeing the Zillo Beast is a welcome surprise, since it was the beginning of Palpatine's cloning experiments as its first specimen. The Force was definitely with Omega for her to sneak around then come back without Scalder finding out. Omega, who I have to say once again has come so far since S1, tells her friends, "I have a plan", and...CREDITS! WHAT!? BLAST IT, LUCASFILM!
Needless to say, I think my one criticism (and I guess everyone else's) on the episode is that it was too short. Like really, it didn't even feel like 20 minutes had passed. But now, with so much going on and to wrap up in a single episode, presuming there isn't another animated series in the works, I'm leaning towards thinking my past prediction may come to pass: The Bad Batch S3, E15 "The Cavalry Has Arrived" will be a freaking movie! Appropriate, methinks, being the last episode/series finale and a good bookend to the first episode/series premiere, which was equally as long an episode. Whether that happens or not, we'll have to wait and see next week. Can't wait!
