I would say "maybe", only because Lucas had a plan for how the OT would unfold and I think he wanted the focus for the entire OT to be the relationship between Luke and his dad.

That said, there is still a chance Kenobi would have made a passing mention of his mother, but obviously NOT if it meant it reveals too much to Luke at the wrong time. Thus, at first Kenobi would likely speak of his mother in generalities and not much specifics.

Knowing how much Lucas likes to retcon things, you never know how he could fall on this topic.
