Lol I had to look up titular just to answer this poll

I don't like how the show contradicts a New Hope. In a New Hope we're led to believe that Obi Wan hasn't seen Vader since Mustafar but now we learn that he did see him again in between those times. It makes their fight in that movie less epic.

Another problem I have is how they make the inquisitors seem more powerful than they were in the comics and in Rebels.

I am glad they brought back the actor who played Kenobi in the prequels. I am not going to tell people not to watch the show, I am just saying that it isn't for me.

I liked the idea of what they did with Kenobi. In some ways it worked better than Luke in the Last Jedi. However, I don't believe they gave it enough time to cook and we really didn't dive into a PTSD filled Obi-Wan. Instead it became an awkward rematch (twice) between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan. I believe Ewan McGregor deserved much better scripts but for what he got he deserves a 3 or 4 star rating at least.

For the fight scene with Vader he's pretty cool, I'll give him that. But I dunno... he just seems really boring to be Obi Wan: King of Sass.

I totally understand why having to fight your best friend while the Jedi Order crumbles around you could make someone more reserved and salty, but like Luke in the sequels they kind of just threw him at us instead of using that to tell the story and create new opinions/reactions for him in each situation.

His fight with Darth Vader was what stopped his character from being 1 Star.

I say five stars

Ewan has always been fantastic as Obi-Wan and I really did enjoy his portrayal as a much older Obi-Wan

Plus it was great seeing him again playing the character since he hasn’t since Episode III not counting his voice cameos in the sequel trilogy
