As I was watching the movies, I noticed how finn would look at Rey, and always wanted to be with her or find her. I never quite noticed a love interest though. I don't really know if he romantically liked her? or liked her as family.

Yeah i can see that. I thought he was interested in her as well
Who?
Clearly he loves her, hence why he screams out her name out of fear she's in danger many times.
I could never get Finn yelling "REY!" out of my head, and it's even worse after having watched that joke being used in the HISHE for Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker...
When watching TFA for the first time, I was 100% convinced these two were set up to become a couple. Their chemistry was great, they both came to care a lot about each other during this movie, and they made a great duo. And at least Finn did seem a bit flirty/interested in Rey...
Well, as it turns out, they did not become a couple, and I'm not sure if Rey has (retroactively) ever felt in a romantic way about Finn. But it seems pretty likely to me that at least Finn had had a crush on her at some point.
So, I'd answer your question with yes
Yeah and she just brushed him off.
Finn was physically attracted to Rey, something that is even more apparent in the novels he's in. Rey was basically the first girl he ever met in his new life and she looked up to him like a hero when he said he was with the Resistance.
The shine wore off quickly when he started to see her not just as a pretty girl, but as a brilliant person with whom he connected on a friendly level. When He got Han and the Resistance help him save Rey, he did so because they were friends, not because he hoped they could become lovers.
I personally think Finn's relationship with Poe was much more romantically charged, which left me rather disappointed that Disney, which seems to finally to addressing that movies full of one type of person is boring, thought that somehow fans couldn't handle seeing that couple on screen. Considering the racist reactions to just Finn himself, and endless misogynistic flak about Rey, Disney was sadly probably correct.
I had thought they were romantically in love with each other while in The Force Awakens it was never stated but it was hinted
I think after that I mean Finn still cared about her but not sure in a romantic way still
What do you think?
