Where did Luke Kenobi come from? They aren't related. Rey kissed Ben Solo so she could be Rey Solo instead of Skywalker, but it still works either way since Ben Solo is Luke Skywalker's Nephew

I'm quite late to this one, so pardon if this reply has basically already been covered by someone else. I simply have no desire to scroll through the surely hateful flak this topic has certainly already yielded.

I love that Rey chose the name Skywalker because I feel Luke and Leia would have been so incredibly proud of their protégée and would have welcomed her into their powerful-yet-troubled family.

The only part of this situation that I'm not 100% behind is how it makes Rey's relationship with Ben Solo creepier. Those two got real weird for honorary cousins/siblings, but at least they weren't biologically related, for fark's sake, Skywalker twins.
