This incredible power is confusing in how both versions differ in canon it causes the death of the user while in legends it doesn’t.

Canon states that this power is extremely taxing to a Jedi in general it tends to kill the majority of them.
Kylo or Rey would have suffered death if using this skill.
The power is taxing in all areas including stamina and focus and strength.
Luke’s problem was that he used it too long and wore him out.
Correct. However, using force projection does not guarantee death. You have no way of knowing what Ben and Rey's fate would have been upon using this power.
Luke to me is more powerful than Rey and this power killed him overall he is superior to Rey and Kylo.
Luke by himself if serious enough can kill Rey and Kylo at the same time.
Nah they nerfed him and rey and Kylo have the power of dyad or soothing
Luke was also an old guy. Also, saying Luke is stronger than Rey and Kylo is debatable.
Power creep guys, one is Disney's new toys and = Luke is a legend. I do think Luke at his prime wins because Luke at his prime is more powerful than Rey(most of her power come from dyad) will ever be as Kylo died, and if Kylo is alive then they are both inexperienced. therefore luke wins
Luke is more powerful than both he is a better duelist than the two of them.
Dyad is a rare thing is the only power that is making them stronger I saw Luke in action he is more impressive than both.
If you are talking legends Luke is a beast he can beat them both blindfolded.
Force Projection in Canon requires an individual to pool their life force into the Cosmic Force in order to appear lightyears away. That's why it usually ends with the death of the user (it literally saps away their life force). Luke held out much longer due to power and experience whereas Rey and probably Kylo Ren would have died merely attempting it.
In Legends it's much more like a conventional hologram like a fleet of ghost X-Wings. The potential of the force was almost unlimited in the old EU. There existed an ability to essentially time travel using the Force by way of Flow-Walking to past events with the potential to affect the past. Point being the abilities In Legends were much more potent and deadly. Canon usually requires a cost to their usage. To an extent the old EU is a little like a power fantasy in certain cases.
You literally explained everything about this particular power the Jedi has to pay a heavy price to use the ability.
Luke using this for long shows how powerful he is compared to Rey or Kylo.
What do you think?
