There is no straight answer to that question. Human nature is not black and white, and cannot be split into completely good and completely bad categories.

WizardWarrior1 is correct, when describing a character like Cassian Andor it’s very difficult to use the terms “good” and “bad” to describe him. Cassian is fighting against a regime that is tyrannical and oppressive. However he does tend to do things you wouldn’t think “good guys” would do. Like when he murdered 2 Pre-Mor security officers in cold blood. So I think he’s like Din Djarin and more of an Anti-Hero than anything.

He did some questionable things, like letting the Corporate Security soldiers shoot a speeder with innocent civilians in it

^Were there civilians in that speeder? I always assumed he just put a brick down on the gas peddle and let it go by itself

Cassian also "got rid of" an informant who was injured in the start of Rogue One, which was rather harsh. And he was willing to 'follow orders' regarding Galen Erso, at least at the beginning.

I don't think he started out as one but by the time of Rogue One I think he became a good guy.

I mean I would consider him one since he fights on the die of good against the Empire
