It looks really cool and I am excited! I can’t wait to see Morgan Elsbeth’s backstory and Barriss Offee after TCW. I am very interested to see her become an inquisitor because I had no idea she became one. I had no idea about this show until this afternoon when I saw the trailer had released I was thinking “Tales of the EMPIRE?” I didn’t expect it all. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I think it's cool instead of doing Tales of the Jedi again they went with Tales of the Empire.

I am glad we finally get to see what happened to Barriss after Season 5 of the Clone Wars

So she does become an Inquisitor, so the question is why she wasn't in Rebels

Cool to see The Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader again. Also we have Marrok from Ahsoka who is going to appear as well which is cool.

Having Morgan Elsbeth as the second character is cool. We get to learn her backstory a bit more and seeing how she meets up with Thrawn

Since they are still using The Clone Wars/The Bad Batch animation it is cool to see characters like Thrawn and Grand Inquisitor in Clone Wars animation instead of Rebels animation

These are two neat choices for the sequel/season 2

Not gonna lie, I had to double check..."Tales of the Empire What's that?" Turns out I missed the news about the new trailer and title for Tales of the Jedi S2. Needless to say, I am very excited for this, speaking as someone who did quite like the first Tales of the Jedi series.

More Thrawn, more details about Thrawn's history with Morgan Elsbeth, the return of Barriss Offee, Grievous, AND the one and only Grand Inquisitor voiced by Jason Issacs - Hell yeah! The only downside I can think of is that I'm sure we may be getting some continuity issues somewhere in this, but that is the creators' fault, sadly. I'm sure with Darth Vader, one can assume he'll do some more action-packed Sith doings, but I suspect it may be more so a looming presence something along the lines of Palpatine/Sidious in TotJ...but I would love to be wrong about this though!

All in all, there's no more to say than..."Today, victory is mine. Long Live the Empire."

@Joupena I agree that a straight redemption arc for Barriss Offee would not make for a compelling story. At the same time, if she just has a linear progression into becoming a one-dimensional evil goon, it would also be boring. But that was just me considering the possibility that she could be the Seventh Sister, and I am hearing from people that that has already been debunked by Filoni? Is that true? So my worries are likely unfounded as there is no way they wouldn't try to give her a deeper story in this.

Someone on Reddit offered two possibilities: (a) that she would beat out all the other Inquisitors in training only to be suddenly killed by Darth Vader (b) she would have a final showdown with Ahsoka and be slain by her.

I find the first scenario interesting since it was pointed out it would be a nice callback to Vader killing the best royal guard trainee in Legends. I wonder which scenario you guys like better?

In any case, as long as her arc is not linear (whether towards redemption or just towards becoming a trivial henchwoman), I think she would have a decent story.

EDIT: Another scenario I have seen suggested is that she would be made to execute Luminara Unduli. I'm more ambivalent about this.

I'm super excited for this. My only grievance is that they better not nerf my boy Grievous. He's meant to be a Jedi killer and shouldn't get (excuse my language) bitched around by Nightsisters.

I am so excited and not sure what I am looking forward to most. I will say that seeing Darth Vader again in Clone Wars animation is definitely one of the things I can’t wait for the most.

From what I’ve gathered, the most common theory in regards to Barriss’ training as an Inquisitor will involve having to eliminate Luminara Unduli. Seeing as her turn to the dark side was rather abrupt and the outcome has only been minimally addressed, a confrontation with Luminara could provide further insight into their former dynamic and any emotional weight it may have had in her eventual fall. Now, whether Barriss will actually go through with it or reject the Inquisitor teachings is a 50/50 for me.

I always hope that the stuff we get is better than the sequels (no offense to people who like them, I'm glad you do)
