Dave Filoni has done a lot for Star Wars, he’s created great characters for his shows in the Star Wars universe, like Ahsoka Tano and Din Djarin/The Mandalorian, and unlike Kennedy, he’s focused on the stories and not the diversity, and I’m not saying diversity is a bad thing, like it’s great to see different people of different gender, race, and sexuality, but don’t make that the main focus of the show, this is why a lot of people have lost faith in Star Wars, because it’s been a conduit to push diversity, Kennedy is probably just doing this as a fuck you to Lucas’s legacy, and Filoni cares more about Lucas’s legacy more than her, Lucas should’ve just made Filoni the president of Lucasfilm after giving it to Disney. Sure, Filoni hasn’t made a lot of stuff that were home runs, like The Book of Boba Fett, but most of his work is consistently good when he’s involved, make Star Wars great again (not affiliated on the right or left)
It is very much understandable but what we think is the best solution doesn't always work either. The reason that Kennedy is still the CEO is because nobody wants the unenviable task of replacing her. And regardless of her faults some of the content you like was greenlit by her. The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett. All future projects.
That’s true, but The Acolyte isn’t looking too good right now, people are hating on The Acolyte because Kennedy hired Leslye Headland for it and because of the diversity, and people are saying this could be the final nail in the coffin for Star Wars, so Star Wars is under a lot of pressure
It certainly is but when has it not been since the Sequel Trilogy? They always say it's the final nail but I lost count three final nails ago. Regardless, we will not know for sure until The Acolyte comes out as to it's overall quality. We will really not know for sure until then.

This reminds me of the April Fool’s post from a couple days ago about Filoni becoming president of Lucasfilm.
Also, I genuinely don’t see how Star Wars supposedly “pushes diversity”. It’s no different from any other movie/show and it’s not like George Lucas’ Star Wars had no women or people of color either, yet no one is complaining about George Lucas.
At this point I feel like Star Wars fans can never be satisfied- even if Kathleen Kennedy was fired tomorrow, I bet y’all would hate whoever replaces her too. Kennedy isn’t the problem, the fanbase has always been divided and there will always be someone who disagrees or thinks “Star Wars is ruined”. Even Andor, which many fans agree is the best thing to come out of Disney Star Wars, has its haters- we also can’t forget how on the other side of the spectrum there are people who hate Filoni’s stuff, which is widely regarded as the saving grace for Star Wars as well.
Well I mean he was promoted to being the head of the creative team so he does have a good position even if it isn’t president
I don't know if President would be the best role for him because he seems to be very invested in the nitty gritty creative details. But I do kind of get where you're coming from, when people say Filoni was involved in an upcoming project I do certainly feel like it might actually be worth a watch.
Your information is faulty at the source. Half of what you bring up as Filoni's accomplishments aren't even his work. And no, he should not be the president of Lucasfilm. A background coordinator is fine.
Seconding what my dear mates above said: you must seek for better sources when it comes to SW projects, because almost the entirety of your post is not only flawed in lack of information, but simply incorrect in many things. Uxas' and Daisy's points represent my thoughts the best. Reading your thread reminded me of parts of the comment section of YouTube channels like, Stupendous Wave, Thor Skywalker, and SW Theory. And no, we don't need Filoni as president of Lucasfilm.
