To be fair darth Vader did way worse. But at least he got a reason Ben’s reason was terrible if there was any

I personally had no expectations for the character so I didn't mind however his arc ended either way. He's already my least favorite character in the trilogy although that is due largely to bias because I could never stop seeing him as a "discount Jacen Solo with Ben Skywalker's name".

Very good and very underatted. I know it sounds crazy, but I actually think his redemption is more natural than Vader's. No matter how many bad things he did, his conscience always got to him. After losing the 3 people who he believed saw good in him (Rey, Solo and Leia), he saw that he wasn't getting anywhere, made worse by the fact that despite being in power, he was really just under Palpatine's thumb.

To be completely honest all of what happened in Rise of Skywalker is all blended together into mush in my brain, but I remember that it seemed a little forced into the film for a Raylo segue.

Awful. After TLJ, he honestly shouldn't of been redeemed because he didn't want it. The thing that was annoying is that he hallucinated his reason for redemption. Awful film, 0/10, the WOAT.
