The movie isn’t terrible, but it’s very far from perfect. When I see people holding it up as a “masterpiece of cinema” and “George Lucas’s magnum opus”, I can’t help but roll my eyes, and wonder where people’s sense of taste has gone.

I don’t know whether this is a flaw in the movie or me, but when I rewatched ROTS almost every time someone said a line I got reminded of a meme and only heard the line in context of the memes and not in context of the scene- which could either mean some of the dialogue is cheesy, or I spend too much time on r/prequelmemes. 😂

^^^ I liked The Force Awakens, thought that The Last Jedi was mid, and absolutely hated The Rise of Skywalker. So to answer your question, not really.

^^ I will admit, the Prequels may be better than I give them credit for. But I think that a lot of people confuse memeability with quality, and wear rose-tinted glasses.

My personal opinion has always been that Episode III is a 10/10 on every score but the dialogue and the lightsaber choreography for Anakin vs. Dooku & Mace Windu, et al. vs. Darth Sidious. So those are the only two things I would change. Adding back the Delegation of 2000 deleted scenes would make it even more perfect.
