Depends. If we’re talking about before his time working undercover in Dooku’s Dark Acolytes then most definitely. His bond with Aayla was so heartfelt and even when his memory was wiped he never stopped searching for her. After he was embedded within Dooku’s Dark Acolytes, I would be very cautious of him because even after he returned to Coruscant he was still struggling with overcoming everything Dooku had him do.

^Damn, spot-on. I was literally about to write something along the lines of that. The bond he had with Aayla was beautiful and emotional. He deeply cared for her, which speaks volumes about his character. Also, not to forget he was one of the most powerful Jedi of his generation.

The real trouble came into play when he went undercover for Dooku. Wrestling with the dark side made him dangerously volatile and unpredictable, raising valid concerns about his stability. While his dedication to overcoming his past is admirable, the risks associated with his struggles during that period cannot be ignored.

So, it all comes down to the time frame.

During his struggles to survive order 66 on Kashyyyk he finally overcame the darkness within him and fully resolved to live as a Jedi. Add to that he found an even greater sense of peace and joy after reuniting with Khaleen and meeting Korto.

I like him but he just wouldn’t be that interesting
