❔ [Lore] Do star systems have their own governors?

In Star Wars we have star systems with many habitable planets or moons.

For example, the Corellia system has 5 habitable planets, another example is the Coruscant system itself, which has two habitable planets.

Are the planets of the Star System independent or do the star systems have governors similar to the planets?

Probably, but you’d have to look into it. As far as I know with the Republic, there is only one senate seat for each planet/system.
