So to preface, I mildly enjoyed season 1, but thought season 2 lacked something, so I barely finished it. So far, Season 3 has incorporated elements of both seasons, and I've liked the whole M-Count Plot. I don't want to give away too much if you haven't figured out what it is yet, but it's nice to see them backing up some shaky claims in the sequel trilogy. So I've liked the plot, and there have been some really cool moments, but something has been off the whole time, and I think I know what it is. It's the dialogue. I know that it's supposed to be a kid's show, but it's really cringy sometimes. Clone Wars and Rebels had this too, but if you read some of my other posts, I previously said that the reason I still like Rebels and TCW is because I can put up with the cringy episodes, because I know that for TCW, eventually they'll come out with a more adult arc that I can enjoy, and with Rebels, for the season finally, they'll pull it together for a masterpiece. But with Bad Batch, it's different. Just about every episode is important to the plot, and the more interesting aspects are mixed in with the kid's show. I still don't hate this show, but it kinda takes away from the plot. Now, I bet they will do a big season finally, but more of the plot is in the other episodes than before. So in conclusion, not a bad show, but it's kind of annoying to have to put up with cringy one-liners and 2d action scenes. If you disagree, please tell me your opinions in the comments.
