I already made a post about this but accidentally said the Skywalker Saga.

Its ok for intruducing young kids to star wars and I still watch it from time to time but its not as good as the rest of star wars (minus Menace)
Episode 7 is practically a reboot in disguise. It is not the greatest film of all time, but I would sit down to watch it most days of the week.
Episode 8: was pretty good when I first watched it, especially since I believe this is the first movie with 21st century graphics of AT-AT's (correct me if i am wrong)
The fake out sacrifice at the end though is kind of dumb
Episode 9 I watched in theaters and I remember thinking that is was pretty dumb, adding new force powers and stuff like that.
All in all, first two movies aren't bad. the third, I might not watch for a very long time
Agree
it's not the best, but it's the best acted, it's just that they could have made the films a little more coherent with each other and made all the characters have a good story
4/10 for a lot of reasons but I’ll give only 3
They ruined old characters like Luke who ran away from his friends which he would never do and tried to kill his nephew who had some evil even though this is the guy who redeemed darth Vader the evilest man in the gaxlaxy leia was good though in TFA. Han went back to a smuggler and just forgot about all of his development in the original sersies.
The light saber fights. In the old days it was so much better and the actors tried on it and it look so cool but in the sequels they were swinging it around like base ball bats and I get they didn’t have training but like Luke and kylo should have the skill of that but didn’t because Disney was lazy
The new characters were bad or overshadowed. Look Finn should have been the dam Jedi. A storm trooper turned rebel to JEDI would be awesome but instead we just got a female reboot Anakin except she was a perfect character Anakin was good because of his flaws same for Luke and Ashoka. I mean look at Ashoka she became one of the hated to the most loved because she got character development. Poe had some but not enough. Rey was perfect and Finn was just a Rey obbesed person. They focused on Rey a lot and everyone else was background It just felt like that for me
And those are some of the reasons the sequels are bad
It was a long story for me awhile back, back in summer of 2016.
I hate them more than any other piece of media and I hate whenever there's an attempt to justify them since it takes me out of anything I'm watching. I will never forgive Disney for this, and I resent them for turning Luke and EU characters into footnote trivia.
*Mic drop*
Agreed there’s just to many flaws to over look
What do you think?
