I love both characters but I’m gonna stick with Tahiri. I love her outgoing personality and her commitment to those she loves. She and Anakin would’ve had a bright future together 😭😭. I’m still gonna give a shout out to Iella. She’s a top tier New Republic intelligence officer.

^Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with you there. Both are fantastic characters, but I'm choosing Tahiri. Iella was an incredible spy and intelligence officer for the Alliance and the New Republic, respectively, and I enjoyed her appearances in the X-Wings comics and novels. Her relationship with Wedge was also appreciable.

Tahiri, though, is such a great character. Her childhood was less than ideal, but despite her traumatic upbringing, she proved a promising student at Luke's Academy. It was there that she met and formed a deep bond with Anakin Solo. She then went on to fight in the Yuuzhan Vong War, where she was an important asset. She was captured by the enemy and subjected to a traumatic transformation. Despite the horrors she endured, she remained resilient and kept fighting. She then had to witness Anakin's death soon after they had revealed their love for each other, something so shocking and devastating for her. She struggled with depression and with the implanted personality the Vong gave her, but she was able to push through and unify both personalities, proving her strength and determination. She was crucial for the resolution of the war. She's one of my favourite female characters due to her personality and development throughout her Jedi training, and her relationship with Anakin is also one of my favourites in Star Wars.

So yeah, Tahiri wins this one for me. I'm not taking into consideration her post-NJO characterisation, though. What they did to her... they ruined her character, and there were some very uncomfortable and unpleasant scenes I'd rather not talk about.

^You’re just like me my friend. I refuse to take pretty much all of their post-NJO stories into consideration. Tahiri was on the path to healing by the end of the NJO novels and for Jacen of all people to manipulate her into becoming a Sith by using Anakin’s death is just…sigh*…just shame on the Legacy era. Anyway, this is an awesome assessment of both characters Cuki 🙂.

And what she also did to Ben to gain information on the location of the JO's secret base after torturing him didn't work was just disgusting. The whole era was a complete mess.
