3/5 and a bit overrated.

A potentially wonderful movie marred by bad acting, ropey dialogue and genuinely stupid bits of storytelling.

Even worse, it unintentionally made me laugh during its most emotional moments.

Does Episode III: Revenge of the Sith deserve all five stars? Probably not.

Will I give it five stars? Hell yes! The best film in the Prequel Trilogy, and my all-time favorite film in the Star Wars saga to this day. Next to Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, of course.

An enjoyable movie with a great storyline, fantastic soundtrack, pretty good action scenes, and nice visuals.

It's not perfect for sure, mainly when it comes to the dialogue.

But Lucas does such a great job with the worldbuilding and the themes and nuances this movie explores (as well the PT overall) are fascinating and thought-provoking, at least to me.

The execution could have been better in some aspects but it's still pretty solid overall and the ideas behind this movie are fantastic, in my opinion.

So, I'd give it 4 stars

Right, every scene brings a fresh meme. They can't be separated any more.

^ and ^^ For me, memes fortunately rarely ruin a movie for me in terms of being incapable of taking a movie seriously. But that’s usually when I already know the movie when coming across the respective memes.

There is at least one case of a scene that somewhat failed to impress me on my first watch due to being exposed to the meme-version.

So, while I think it’s sad that a certain exposure to memes can diminish the impact of a scene, it’s somewhat understandable that this can happen (not that all scenes need memes in order to be ridiculed, though).

This never happened to me in regard to SW, though, lol. So, I can’t say I relate
