Vader did more evil stuff but I would say he is nicer

Well...despite Maul having no choice but to join the darkside at an early age, at least Vader used to be a good person

I believe Vader

While I respect your opinions but Vader was way more unkind than Maul, as Anakin I would agree he is kinder, but this is the man who would kill you for failing him, kills kids, kills former associates when he switches his job, used torture devices on children, and was ok with blowing up a planet. that's not even mentioning all of the war crimes he preformed as Anakin. Maul on the other hand was cast out, thrown away even, so he took the opportunity to reflect on himself and improve himself and the others around him, such as when he took his brother up as his apprentice, too teach him in the ways of the force, politics, and business. Maul is also an entrepreneur, forming the crimson dawn from the ground up. this is why Maul is nicer than Darth Vader. thank you for coming to my TED talk.
