If they had a flashback with Hera and Kanan on the Ahsoka show, that would be very cool.

All they need is one flashback. Just to show how much Hera misses him. Showing the regret she had of not telling him all the things she wanted to tell him.

Freddie is refusing to return period. As in he will not play Kanan in live action. They could show him as a force ghost, but it would have to be a different actor

Honestly, I'm with Freddie Prinze Jr. on this one. Let Kanan rest. He died. He doesn't need to be incorporated in a flashback as it would only serve cheap fanservice. But then again.... Ahsoka Episode 5 was pretty much that so I wouldn't put it past them.

Yes, they very obviously put Freddie’s face on a body model using the same AI technology as they did Luke and Anakin
