I thought it was a very interesting weapon. Maybe we’ll see it again in a Tarre Viszla flashback. Gideon paid for his insolence by that fire baptismal.

I would like to see Sabine build a similar weapon in Ahsoka Season 2, as she doesn't have her own lightsaber.

How about the opposite of this Saber and instead fuel by postive emotions

Maybe prof. Huyang, tano, & Wren if they come back, can help bo-katan to repair. Maybe the armorer could help too. Maybe is now just a relic of the old republic.

It’s insulting to the Mandalorians

Usually when something big like this happens, I judge it on the quality of the show or movie that it was in. I know it seems dumb, but how I see it, is if you made a really good piece of star wars canon, you've earned the right to do something that big. You may think you know where this is going, and I'm going to rag on Mando Season 3, but I'm not. I LOVED season three of Mando, (unlike everyone else for some reason), so when it happened, I immediately thought, "Yes, you have earned this, no question." So that's my take.
