Luke (EU). He successfully rebuilt the Jedi Order and continued to be the hero I’ve always expected him to be.

My personal ranking from best to worst...

1. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

2. Luke Skywalker

3. Ezra Bridger

4. Din Djarin/Mando

5. Cal Kestis

6. Rey

Rey could have been higher, had the Sequel Trilogy actually been better received. Like the idea that she was a nobody was easier to accept than being Emperor Palpatine's grandaughter. Otherwise, I guess it was hard to rank some, as I do think Kestis could have been higher than Ezra and Mando, but I love those two so much. And Anakin and Luke...need I say more?

In terms of who I'm most fond of as an individual, Ezra. In terms of best written character, Anakin.

I like Anakin as a character more but Luke as a protagonist more if that makes any sense
