Personally, the romance between Vos and Ventress is a deal breaker. Mainly because I still ship Vos with his legends wife Khaleen Hentz.

I really enjoyed Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. It's a good look into how the Sith became what they are in the modern era of Star Wars, besides just being an enjoyable book with good characters and interesting conflict.

I have not read any of the three proposed books, but my favorite is really any of the Thrawn books by Timothy Zahn. In specific, my favorite is Alliances. It has a great storyline between the CW and the post Battle of Atollon hostilities between Thrawn and Anakin. JAR JAR IS UNDERRATED

I really enjoyed the Ascendancy trilogy by Zahn, but I think my favorite is still Shadows of the Empire, by Steve Perry.

Lost stars is hands down one of the best books ever made

@Skyflydaddy1775 And unlike most Star Wars books, hard to find a copy of except for the manga versions. I had to buy copy on eBay last year.
