I don't know if they'll release it in Europe too (I hope so), but something it would be cool to do as a celebrative thing would be making a 25% off sale (for the 25th anniversary) of TPM's "The Art of" and visual dictionary. They used to be pricey as heck, each one costing + €100 euros. That would be enough for me. I've only watched TPM three times in my life, and I continue with the same opinion: it's OK. I'm not sure how much that would change by rewatching it on a big screen. Maybe the Pod racing sequence and the Duel of Fates would be more enjoyable, but then I remember I'd need to stand Jar Jar's scenes without the power to skip them, lol. So yeah, I don't know.

Minor nitpick with the awesome poster: I'd remove the phrase "every saga has a beginning". I'm sorry, but it sounds so 2000's, so cliché... unnecessary at best. I cringed really hard at it, specially because the real beginning of the saga was in 1977 with A New Hope, lol. Anyways, I'm subscribed to Empire Magazine, so I can't wait for the issue to arrive in its due time and read it. I'm sure SW Insider might release some special edition or whatever as well.

Regarding future re-releases, @UndyingSoldier : this decade will also mark the first decade of the sequels, in which I can 100% bet they'll be completely eclipsed by these other milestones - the 20th anniversary of RotS next year, as you well pointed out, the upcoming 30th anniversary of TPM as well in 2029, but the most important of all: the golden anniversary of the franchise, the 50th year theatrical debut of Star Wars, in 2027 (I hope with no more "special editions" or any other nonsense, lol). It'll be only three years from now. And that's a real big deal, as it should be. Lucasfilm might not release any other new movie until that date (I wouldn't be surprised it doesn't), but certainly a worldwide release of A New Hope, with a special SW Celebration and other fancy events, limited editions of merch and all that jazz throughout the year should be a no brainer. Well, that's what I hope Lucasfilm is already carefully planning.

Last, but not least: your bet on them combining The Acolyte's any future marketing to maximize and promote the re-release and overall silver anniversary of TPM, and vice-versa, sounds super clever to me. I do wonder if they had the same idea, however, and if they did, how are they going to execute that. I've been pretty skeptical with almost everything they've been stating ultimately, so we shall see.

I am surprised they are re-releasing Episode I in theaters again

But hey the new Empire Magazine covers are really cool

I hope the rest of the original 6 films get a theatrical re-release.
