@Dropbearemma , it is indeed possible to edit through the app. Let me see if I can edit this comment to add a screen recording. I will warn you, it's about the most pain-inducing app feature out there though lol.

EDIT: No video is supported it looks like, but I’ll give a rundown. You have to scroll all the way to the end of the page, and you’ll see [edit].

Click that and this will appear. It does not seem to carry any preferences you have saved on desktop to here.

Wait, upon looking, this appears to just be the navbox at the bottom. Edit 2 incoming lol.

EDIT 2: Investigating further, it does appear to just be the navboxes at the bottoms of the pages that you can edit. The pages themselves cannot be edited through the mobile app. I suppose if you are a Discussions user interested in exclusively editing navboxes, then the app will work for you.

The lightsaber forms page needs gifs of the forms in action. static images just don't really show what the forms look like.

@Mitth'raw'nuruodo3, you can make a proposal on the wiki's Consensus Track forum to include specific GIFs you can provide and upload properly. See this for an example, although the content does deal with minor spoilers for The Bad Batch.

I've edited on several wikis but I don't edit here. There's just so much material, I wouldn't know where to start. I don't do Legends, and I don't do comics or video games either, so there's a lot of information that I haven't been exposed to. I'm no sure if this was the kind of answer you were looking for :D

@Shambala108 it's definitely a useful answer! I've never read any comics or played most of the video games either, and I only know a little bit of Legends, and that's totally fine! Lots of people have their own little niches - and given how big Star Wars is, even little niches can be a LOT of articles. For instance, I primarily edit stuff about one fairly obscure star system and LEGO Skywalker Saga, and that's more than enough to keep me occupied! People on the discord are happy to help out if you need info you don't have access to.

I'd like to echo what Emma said. I focus primarily on the show Star Wars Resistance and have over 400+ relevant articles.

There are editors that focus on Astrography articles, some focus on food, some focus on B1 battle droids, others on Clones.

Finding something that specifically interests you can help turn the overwhelming 182,000+ articles into a small, manageable bunch!
