Overall Qui Gon Jinn but off of this list Mace Windu. We all know that they had serious trust issues that didn’t get resolved until it was literally too late for a bond to be forged between them. Anakin’s emotional instability could’ve been properly dealt with in the hands of a Jedi who’s got control over his emotions. Mace Windu could’ve taught Anakin how to channel the dark side without succumbing to its darker impulses and they would’ve gained some much needed mutual respect for each other.
^^^ agreed. I know a lot of people would want to say Plo Koon but ultimately I think their relationship would suffer from similar problems as when Obi-Wan is his master. Plo would be good for a student who needs a confidence boost or someone to say, “keep trying,” not an over-confident person that thinks they are better than their master.
